For quite a long time now, I’ve always wanted to go up to the Farmer’s Markets & fill up my tote with tons of fresh fruit, vegetables & gourmet meat & bread, take it all home & cook up a storm! I finally got the chance to do so last weekend & it was so worth it. It was a bit of a gloomy miserable day, but the fruit & vegetables were so bright that the sprinkling of rain hardly mattered! We stopped by the veggie stand first up to get a good handful of those scrumptious looking heirloom tomatoes.

There was absolutely no way I was passing by this cherry stand without grabbing some! They were so deliciously sweet! We also picked up some nectarines, bread rolls & gourmet caramelised onion, sage & pork sausages.

What we ended up doing was frying up the sausages so they were nice & crispy, & roasting the veggies with a little olive oil drizzled & herbs sprinkled.
