One thing I definitely don’t want to do when the temperatures drop is completely forget about colour. I find that often it’s easier when it’s cold outside to just surround yourself with warm, woolly blacks & greys & browns & tans. All of those dark neutral colours that almost feel more warming than the brights you wear during Spring & Summer. But when it’s chilly outside but the sun is shining, what better way to enjoy it but by wearing your fun, bold pieces? That was one reason I couldn’t walk past this beautiful burgundy cardigan in David Jones a couple months ago. I knew it would go well with the (over) abundance of plaid & patterned shirts that I own & one combination I adore is the burgundy cardigan with this bright, hot pink gingham shirt. The shirt itself is a lovely thick flannel so the two of them together make for a very warming duo!
